We return as the dynamic duo with plenty to talk about. While the last minute loss to the Whitecaps had us feeling pretty gutted, we managed to take plenty of positives from the game. We talk about how the Eddies fared against a pretty strong Vancouver side and how amazing the crowd support was for this game.
We also get back to talking about league results and how encouraging Sundays wins against the Atlanta Silverbacks was. We also look forward to Fridays game against a familiar foe in the Ottawa Fury.
In this episode we are joined by a long time friend Tobi, who is known as FieldTurf of Dreams on twitter (@FToD). We get him to share his experience of witnessing Edmonton's historic result in Vancouver, joining the Curva Collective for a Cascadia Cup match against Seattle, and rushing back to catch our beloved Eddies play the next day. We also analyze the loss against the Scorpions, what to look forward to against Vancouver and we touch on the upcoming Atlanta game. Most of the podcast was influenced by PBR, hence the new intro music.
In this episode, we take the opporutnity to talk about the league results again and what went wrong for Edmonton. We also offer out opinion on the postponement of the Voyageurs Cup match in Edmonton and how it can changed the dynamic of this semi final.
Also, with news of Hartford expansion, we go in depth on other rumoured expansion locations and what it could mean for the league and FC Edmonton.
Where to start?
This week we recap Edmonton's convincing win against Ottawa to advance to the semifinals of the Voyageurs Cup. We also talk about the draw against Minnesota and quickly preview next weekends matchup against the mighty Cosmos.
OH YEAH! We also get our first ever (successful) guest on the podcast. Kasey from Northern Staring Elevan joins us to talk Whitecaps and how he thinks they matchup against Edmonton.
This is a monumental episode for us and we thank you for listening!
