This week we return with a roster update (so far anyway) of who's in for the fall season. 2 of the 3 are familiar names for FCE fans. We also try to break down what they can add to help FCE have a more positive fall season.
We then move on to talk about Soccer Day in Saskatchewan. We know, this is an Alberta based podcast but we felt it had plenty of connections to Edmonton and news about growth of pro soccer in the Prairies. We run down what's been shared from the town hall meet up that was arranged, and how the crowd could help determine the success of a potential pro team in the 306.
We then do a brief prediction of what we are expecting from FCE for the start of their fall season when they host the Indy Eleven this coming Sunday.
This week we sit down and grade the individual parts of the team as well as the sum of all parts. We start with the coaching, move on to keepers, then the backline, mids, forwards and the front office. Please note these grades for the players and coaching is purely based on what we saw on the pitch on game days, and the front office was rated on their ability to market the team and draw the crowds.
Also, we were unable to take comment on the Fordyce signing as it happened after recording this episode. We will have a hot take on this next week!

What a difference a win makes. In this episode, we applaud the efforts of Miller and staff for getting a massive win with a short bench and the unfortunate injury to Nathan Ingham.
We then comment on the newly departed Dean Shiels and talk about why he was just never the 'difference maker' we were told he'd be. We also look to how the team could use his international spot (and salary) to find a replacement.
And we finish it off by previewing the final week of the NASL spring season.
We took this week to talk at length about #MillerOut, what he's doing wrong, what can be done right, and is this season a write off?
We also address the rumours of Fordyce coming back after being released by FC Cincinnati. Is he the answer to what FC Edmonton needs? With his permanent Canadian residency, he could be considered a domestic.
We then chat about Albert Watson becoming a permanent resident how that could affect the teams moves heading into the split season break.
