For this weeks episode, we take a much needed turn for the positive. We start with talking about the signing of Keven Aleman. We'll discuss how he fills a much needed hole on this roster and how the starting eleven looks with him in it.

We then move onto talking about the top FC Edmonton goals in the 10 years of their history. Of course it's a subjective list, but we tried to capture goals that were both nice and meant a lot for the club.

On this weeks episode, we get real and talk about the spread of COVID-19 in this country. It's a topic we touched on recently, but with how much everything has changed we found it important to discuss how the virus has impacted CPL and all the events around it. We also look at how it's affected other sports, countries and what's a reasonable time to expect a return to what is normal. We also look at some of the positive things happening around the community to help everyone get through these difficult times.

On this weeks episode, we catch up on a variety of other topics with the news slowing down from the FC Edmonton perspective. First, we talk about the growing concern around COVID-19 (Corona virus) and how it's affecting the beautiful game around the world. We also look at how it can affect the upcoming start of the CPL season and if we should be worried about that at this point.

We then look at the announced of the Derbystar being the official match and training ball for 2020. Plus, it's available to purchase for fans in a few different options as well, unlike last season.

There's some former Eddies in the news this week. Bruno Zebie made some comments that may be controversial for some FC Edmonton supporters. Plus Atletico Ottawa sign a pair of former Eddies in Ben Fisk and Ajay Khabra.

We also take some time to applaud the initiative of the first female driven supporters group in the league, the Dames of York.

On this weeks episode, we discuss the confirmation of Amer Didic being re-signed by FC Edmonton. With that seemingly being the last big roster move ahead of the season, we look at who we see as starting and what formations the club could use. We also talk about where he realistically see FC Edmonton finishing in the league table.

With the seven founding CPL clubs releasing their home kits last week, we do one of our favourite things and review the kits and give them our ratings out of 10.

On this weeks episode we look at the recently released schedule and how it changes the format from last season. We then dig into FC Edmonton's schedule, look at key dates and how balanced it looks compared to last seasons.

We then look into the home kit teases ahead of the full release this week. There's some elements that have been focused on and we try to extrapolate from that on what why will all look like.

We then look at some player news of interest. Former Eddie Ben Fisk won't be returning to Pacific, but will be staying in the league. Amer Didic has been released by the Whitecaps, but is he a slam dunk to return?

We start this weeks episode by talking about the eCPL, which is a partnership between EA Sports & the league for an official FIFA 20 competition. Does this mean anything for the CPL's chances in getting into an upcoming version of FIFA?

We then get a little grumpy (ok, Adam gets grumpy) about the lack of schedule and why we're seeing the same problems from last season already creeping into this year. We also touch on the Barton Street Battalion on the refreshed look, notably the presence of a star. Should supporter groups take on the star the club should be wearing?

Next we discuss the big deal of the Canadian men's national team playing a friendly at Westhills and how it could be a sign that CanPL markets are in play for hosting future men's and women's national games. We also talk about the unfortunate passing of York 9's mascot Yorky and how we should all be worried about killing off a robot from the future.

We then wrap up this episode with some FC Edmonton talk. We discuss the latest signing of Peruvian winger Raul Tito and how he fits into the lineup. There's also been rumours linking a young left back out of Vancouver to the team. And speaking of Vancouver, we wonder if Didic has a spot on the Whitecaps and the chances of him returning to FC Edmonton.

Jan 8, 2020

On this weeks episode, we return from the holidays with a bag full of rumours, especially for FC Edmonton. We take a look at a few names linked to the club and how they'd each fill a need for this club. Most notably, we look at the rumour of Winnipeg's Bustos getting a contract offer from FCE.

Speaking of Valour, we take a look at what's going wrong there. With only 3 players committed for next season along the rumours of key players moving on, it paints a very grim picture for them. We also look at Rob Gale trying to shut down some aspiring journalists from reporting what they have heard.

And to wrap the podcast up we talk about the apparently secret import draft, latest expansion talk & a record 4 CanPL players called up to CanMNT.

On this weeks episode, we talk about return of Hanson Boakai. Our discussion runs long because this is a player we know very well and there's a lot to unpack with this move.

We also talk about the "Ultimate Fan Sports Pass" that was a joint venture between FC Edmonton as well as the Eskimos, Stingers and Prospects. There's been a lot made about how this isn't much of a "deal" but we talk about what this could mean for the future of the relationship for these clubs.

We then finish by talking about the CanPL Fan Awards. It's a cool initiative, but we discuss how this could have been more inclusive to engage more fans across the league.

Nov 13, 2019

This weeks episode is a shining example of what we call the silly season. We start by talking about the U-Sports Draft and FC Edmonton's decision to pick players they're familiar with ahead of some talent that may be a little more unknown. We also talk about the nominees for the individual awards, who we think will win and who was snubbed.

We then move onto other news relevant around the league. Amer Didic and Dominic Zator were both called up to the next Canadian National Team game against the United States and what it means to see regular call ups for CPL players. We also look at the Fury folding and what that means for a CPL team in Ottawa.

We then focus on some more FC Edmonton news. Jay Ball resigns as General Manager for the club, and we look at what he did for the club in some pretty difficult times. We also talk about the first announced returning player for FC Edmonton, Easton Ongaro.
